How it Works

  • Select Fuel Rewards savings as Your Extra preference in your Choice Privileges account
  • Earn 20¢/gal for every qualifying stay* that includes a Sunday through Thursday night at participating Choice Hotels® locations
  • Redeem your Fuel Rewards savings at any participating Shell or other select gas station

The Details

  • Must be a member of the Fuel Rewards program and have selected Fuel Rewards savings as Your Extra preference in your Choice Privileges account.
  • A qualifying stay must contain at least one Sunday through Thursday night at participating Choice Hotels locations.
  • Rewards will post to your account after check-in.
  • Fuel Rewards savings earned through Choice Hotels expire on the last day of the month, two full months following the month in which they were earned.
  • For example, rewards that post to your account on February 15 will expire April 30.
  • Fuel savings are limited to 20 gallons of fuel per purchase, per vehicle.

Fuel Rewards savings can be earned at over 5,500 hotels globally.

*Qualifying Stays: Most stays at participating Choice Hotels locations that have a Sunday – Thursday night are qualifying stays EXCEPT: rooms booked at rates below $40 USD per night, certain hotel initiated promotions, reward night stays, complimentary rooms, rooms paid for as part of a convention or meeting, rooms booked through a travel agent or third party online retailer including online travel agencies, wholesale packages, group tours, and stays booked using the employee discount or the friends and family discount. WoodSpring Suites® locations, among others, are not currently participating in this promotion.
